Mrs. Jones' kindergarten class finished their class project "Hearts From Around The USA." During this project they received TONS of mail from 37 different states! They had the opportunity to learn about each state, and had so much fun adding each piece of mail to our map. Thank you to everyone who helped make this project successful!

Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, sophomore Mitchell!
Nominated by FFA Advisor Ms. Hoffman, “Mitchell just started doing FFA this year and has jumped in full force. He has been a great addition to the chapter and his engagement in the classroom is excellent. This winter he stepped up and participated in the Demonstration FFA contest and his team earned alternate to regionals. He has such an upbeat attitude and always participates in all class activities.” In his free time, Mitchell enjoys hanging out with friends, trail running, lifting weights, playing airsoft, and attending air shows with his dad. He also competes on the cross country, track and field, and wrestling teams. He has earned his FFA Greenhand degree and accolades in both cross country and track. Mitchell has a very strong desire to pursue careers serving others with interests in a few areas. Currently, he is planning on serving in both the military and law enforcement. He is also considering a career in agriculture driven by his concern over the lack of available farmland for new farmers and the decrease in generational farmers.
