Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, freshman Kenlee W! Kenlee was nominated by Mr. Dahlke for her cheerful attitude even when facing challenges. She takes her education seriously even when she has to miss class for other activities such as volleyball, softball, or student council. In her free time, Kenlee enjoys painting, drawing, and reading. Her post-secondary plans include attending college to earn a degree in Interior Design. Way to be respectful, responsible, and your best, Kenlee!

The fifth graders in Miss Jones’ classroom discussed and read a book about the pumpkin life cycle. We created a “garden” in a jar for the pumpkin to go through all stages of life while students observe and record findings throughout the year. We started the process by making a hypothesis and then students got to paint their own pumpkins to decorate our classroom with!
