Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, junior Robert! Nominated by Ms. Harrington, “Robert is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and hard-working student. Robert comes to class and works hard every single day, often going above and beyond what is asked of him. He genuinely wants to learn, works well with his classmates, and is such an awesome history student. I can't wait to see what he continues to accomplish this year!” Robert was a part of the district and regional winning football team his sophomore year, runs track, and has been an FFA member since 8th grade. In his free time, he enjoys working out, swimming, hanging out with friends, and playing games with family. After high school, he plans to attend college to study finance and hopefully play college football.

The Ovid-Elsie Robotics team (MarauderBots) competed this past weekend in Jackson. They were selected by the second alliance and finished the competition as runners up.

Students in Mrs. Miller’s sixth grade science are working on predator/prey, relationships, and the factors that limit populations. Today they created a simulation using rabbits and coyotes to show the cycle of population growth. In addition to doing the stimulation, students recorded data on tables and will generate line graphs.

Good luck to our Track & Field team today. Go Marauders!
