Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, sophomore Laila! She interviews and creates the spotlight and the majority of the meeting posts for the group’s social media. She is always working ahead and ensuring that her work is of high quality. As a member of the track and field team, Laila received the Most Improved award last season. Last year she was vice president of her 4H Club, is a current member of the Student Council, and holds the position of FFA Secretary. In FFA she won gold with her horse judging team in 2024 and as Vice President of her Greenhand Conduct of Meetings team, earned gold and was an alternate to States. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and traveling to new places. After high school, Laila plans to further her education to become an OB/GYN sonographer.
Due to weather and road conditions, Ovid-Elsie Area Schools will be closed Thursday, February 13th, 2025. School will resume after Mid-Winter Break, on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025.

Tonight's Middle School 7/8th grade Boys Basketball games have been cancelled due to impending weather.
Please be reminded that there will be no school on Friday, February 14, 2025, and Monday, February 17, 2025, for Mid-Winter Break.
Reminder: Ovid-Elsie Alternative High School Face-to-Face students have a mandatory half-day tomorrow, February 12th for our Spring Count. Students will be released at 11:00am.
All online students are required to check-in beginning at 11:30 am.

The Ovid-Elsie Varsity Swim Team are presenting a 3 day swim clinic on Feb 18th, 19th and 20th, after school, from 3:20-4:30 pm. All that is required is a towel, a swim suit and the ability to listen. Students do not even have to be able to swim to begin.
