If you’d like to help us show our appreciation, you’re welcome to drop off items for our drivers at the Administration Office Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Does your child have a teacher who goes above and beyond? Here's your chance to celebrate them on a statewide stage!
The Michigan Department of Education invites students and families to submit a short appreciation video honoring an outstanding teacher. Selected videos will be featured throughout Teacher Appreciation Month in May on the MDE website and YouTube channel, and promoted across MDE's social media pages.
Submitting is easy — just use the online form at michigan.gov/mde (a Google account may be required).
This is a wonderful opportunity to let a dedicated OE educator know how much they mean to your family — and to share that appreciation with all of Michigan.

During the Mount Pleasant District Robotics Competition (March 8–9), the Ovid-Elsie Marauderbots achieved a huge milestone! After a tough start and strong competition, the team fought back with great strategy, driving, and teamwork. They were selected by top teams Laingsburg’s Red Thunder Robotics and Grand Blanc’s Enginerds to form a powerful alliance. Together they dominated the finals and brought home Ovid-Elsie’s first-ever 1st place Robotics trophy! 🏆🤖

Conor was nominated by Mr. Topping, who shared: “Conor is a student that I have in Chemistry and football. Conor has been very engaged in class and asks good questions. On the football field he has been supportive of others helping our young team.” Conor has participated in football, wrestling, and baseball. He enjoys hanging out with friends and fishing. After graduation, Conor plans to pursue a business degree. After college, he intends to attend the police academy and work toward becoming a police officer. This recognition is a testament to your Marauder character, demonstrating what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, and always striving to Be Your Best!
