Mrs. Swisher's class won the Golden Mic award for being the quietest during the assembly. It was a great start to our Friday!

Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week, freshman Bryce!
Bryce was nominated by Mr. Long, who shared: “I nominated Bryce because of his outstanding character in
my Intro to Strength Class. He is always on time and prepared, he follows directions very well, has an outstanding
work ethic, and he helps others when needed. He is a polite young man with a very bright future.” Bryce’s favorite
activities include fishing, hunting, and working out. He has been recognized as Offensive MVP in football and
earned Student of the Year honors. After graduation, Bryce plans on owning his own business. This recognition is
a testament to your Marauder character, demonstrating what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, and always
striving to Be Your Best!

These students are recognized for the ideals of “Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Your Best.”

These students are recognized for academic achievement and/or effort in the classroom.

Good luck to our Varsity Girls & Boys Basketball teams tonight! We are inviting everyone to gather their spare change and join us for 60 seconds of Change during the Varsity Boys game, as we come together to support a local family in need. Go Marauders!

Next week will be our second round of administering the RCAD social emotional screener to high school students for this school year - this screener allows us to get a better understanding for how students are doing emotionally and gives us a measurable gauge for their risk of anxiety and depression. This information is kept confidential and can provide access to behavior mental health services through Clinton County RESA for the students that qualify.
Our goal is to make sure that students can succeed academically and that is done by ensuring they are also socially and emotionally cared for so they can be their best in the classroom. For additional information about the screener being used and also the option of opting your child out of participation, please read the letter found at this LINK.
