senior Alexis !
Alexis was nominated by Ms. Hoffman, who shared: “Alexis is in her 2nd year of working with our special needs students to create a mentor/PALS type program. She does all the scheduling and lesson development. The feedback from the students in the classroom really proves how engaging she is with them. She is also very helpful and takes initiative in carrying out duties for the FFA chapter.”
Alexis is highly involved in her fair animal projects, including prospect and market beef, as well as working with her horses through both driving and riding. This year, she earned a State Degree in FFA, in addition to receiving Greenhand, Chapter, and Outstanding Junior awards. She was also honored with the Albert Ackley Award for contributions to activities in the special needs classroom. Through FFA, Alexis attended the National Convention, which was an incredibly rewarding experience. She competed in an environmental skills contest with her team and participated in a leadership contest in the job interview category, where she received recognition for her performance.
Her plans after graduation are still developing, as she is exploring options. However, she has secured a position at South Farms, where she will be working following graduation. This recognition is a testament to your Marauder character, demonstrating what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, and always striving to Be Your Best!
