Congratulations to Ovid-Elsie High School’s Student of the Week,
senior Danica!
Danica was nominated by Ms. Hoffman, who shared: “Danica has been a dedicated OE FFA Chapter Officer for multiple years. Not only has she served as a Regional officer, she has also been chosen as a State FFA Officer candidate. She is a student that will always get a job done and make sure it is done thoroughly. She always has a pleasant attitude and is helpful to those around her.”
Danica is an active member of FFA and was elected as a Michigan FFA State Vice President at Large for 2026–2027. She has served as an officer in her 4-H club for multiple years, played varsity softball for four years, and is a member of the National Honor Society. She also owns and operates D.J. Cattle Co., a small beef business she is working to grow. Throughout her involvement in FFA and 4-H, Danica has held numerous leadership roles and earned her Greenhand, Chapter, and State FFA Degrees, along with several state-level awards.
After graduation, she plans to attend Michigan State University to study Agribusiness Management and pursue a career in the agriculture industry. This recognition is a testament to your Marauder character, demonstrating what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, and always striving to Be Your Best!
