The following email was also sent to all 9-12th grade students this morning: The school year is quickly approaching and we are excited to provide you with your classes on PowerSchool starting today. You are welcome to go in and view them digitally using your PS app or logging into a computer. **We do know that there are currently issues with some students getting access and our IT department is working diligently on getting this fixed - contact them through help@ovidelsie.org if you are experiencing problems with your PS login. If you would like to make any changes to your schedule, please do so using this Google Form: https://forms.gle/7LqpZ8owXvC8nuWD6 We will allow schedule change requests to be submitted until next Thursday, August 22nd at 3pm, then the form will close. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE GOOGLE FORM NOT EMAIL. **Please note that not all requests can be granted based on a variety of factors that include class sizes/availability, graduation requirements, and the prerequisites for classes as outlined in our curriculum guide. In light of the recent heartbreaking news, we understand that many of our students and staff may be struggling with feelings of grief and loss. For support during this difficult time we will be offering grief counseling on August 15th from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Counseling services will be available in the Information Center, and we encourage any staff and students needing support to take advantage of this resource. In the event that you or a loved one is currently experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988 to get in touch with counselors 24/7 through the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. For additional local grief support, please explore resources offered by Ele's Place, which you can find at Ele's Place Capital Region. Our hearts go out to all who are affected, and we are here to help you navigate this challenging time together.
