And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:

Question: How many continents are there on Earth?

Answer: Seven.

Class: Kingsbury.

Note: A continent is one of Earth's seven main divisions of land. The continents are: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia. Some geologists count eight continents because they include Zealandia, a largely submerged mass of continental crust.

We have a huge Happy Birthday today to someone who does not ever get enough credit.  He might have the hardest job in the school.  The buck ends with him!  He makes all the big decisions and believe me, that is not nearly as fun as you would think.  He has a fantastic sense of humor (even if he doesn’t seem to find Ms Holley’s Chuckle Time as funny as he should), he works tirelessly to support all of the students and our middle school staff, has a fabulous tie collection and is an all round great guy - Happy Birthday Mr Ormsbee, on Thankful Thursday we are thankful for you.

Track Team Update:

I have some exciting news about our track team's intersquad scrimmage that took place yesterday. We saw outstanding performances across the board, with particularly impressive showings in our field events.

Our 8th graders Bentley N., Kane P., and Todd F. demonstrated tremendous potential, looking ready to set personal records and possibly break school records this season. Meanwhile, school record holder Tori K. dominated her events representing the gold team.

Complete results from yesterday's scrimmage will be released during practice today. Our official season begins next Tuesday, but if you're still interested in joining the track team, you must see Coach Snyder as soon as possible.

Great job to all our athletes! We're looking forward to an incredible season ahead.

Volleyball:

There will be a volleyball meeting for our current 8th grade girls who wish to play Freshman Volleyball during lunch with Coach Ehle in Mr. Dhalke's room.  Feel free to bring down your lunch.
