SPORTS NEWS:
Football sign-ups will be Tuesday during 8th Grade Lunch in the Middle School Gym.
EVENTS:
The Polar Plunge is rescheduled for tomorrow. Students must dress appropriately for the cold weather if they wish to watch this spectacle. Long trousers, coats, gloves and hats are advised.
Popcorn Day:
We will have a popcorn day on Wednesday.
Just a reminder that no food or drink should leave the cafeteria at breakfast or lunch and it is EVER permitted in the bathrooms.
LUNCH:
Chicken tenders, dinner roll, sweet potato fries, strawberry cup and milk.

Note: "Aurora" refers to the Roman goddess of dawn, while "Borealis" means "northern" in Latin, reflecting the phenomenon's appearance in the northern hemisphere. Auroras are created when charged particles from the sun interact with Earth's magnetic field, causing the atmosphere to glow.

SPORTS & CLUB NEWS:
Football sign-ups will today during 8th Grade Lunch in the Middle School Gym.
Congratulations to the Middle School Chess team members for performing at this weekend’s state chess championships. The team had two wins and one draw. Great play from all the players with board one Thomas E., board two Finn P., Board three Wade S., and board four Max P. and alternate Trentin Z.. Special recognition goes to Wade S. for winning a bronze medal with a record of three wins and one draw. Let’s support the players as they prepare for the individual state tournament.
The Polar Plunge is rescheduled for today. If you are taking the plunge please come down to the office as soon as announcements are finished. Audience: please dress appropriately to the weather when we go outside.

Unfortunately, our last popcorn day resulted in so much damage to the bathrooms during 7th grade lunch, 7th grade will not be permitted to purchase popcorn on Wednesday, unless you are a Polar Plunge Movie Winner.

Happy Birthday today to our very own King of Tie Tuesday, Grumpy Old Man, the red faced Hulk, the guy with a heart of gold, Mr Belill. We missed you while you were gone Mr B. How did we all survive without your witty, snarky remarks and arm wrestling in the hallways. I know I struggled!!! . Have a wonderful birthday Mr B!
Next week we enter March and as you all know, March is Reading Month. The LA department has a month full of fun activities and competitions coming up for you so start picking out your list of books that you want to read and fish that shirt with a slogan on it out of the bottom of your closet because next Thursday is Wear Words on a Shirt Day. School appropriate as always!
