Friday - is a ½ day, a hot cocoa bar day and Festive Friday so bring your best festive look.

Science Olympiad News:
Science Olympiad practice is Wednesday after school in Mr. Wertz's room until 4:15.
Good morning, OEMS! We have an urgent North Pole situation to report - Santa's elves have escaped and are hiding throughout our school! Keep your eyes peeled for these sneaky elves in the hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, and other spots around the building.
But wait! Before you capture an elf, make sure it has Santa's official stamp on the back. If you find a stamped elf, write your name on the back and bring it to the office. Santa will be rewarding successful elf-catchers with prizes at the end of the week!

We have the results of the highly competitive door decorating contest in. In 2nd place we have Mrs Duckert’s class and in 1st place…..drum roll please…..Mr Latz’s class are winners of the 2024 Christmas Door Decorating Competition. Fabulous job guys!

Friday - is a ½ day, here’s some Christmas coal for you - the hot cocoa bar on Friday is only for Mrs Miller’s class, for winning the canned food drive. So the rest of y’all don’t bother bringing a $1 cos “No cocoa for you!!” (for our Seinfeld aficianados) , Festive Friday so bring your best festive look.

The Marauder Closet had a large donation of gloves, hats, and mittens this week. If this is a need for you please check out the closet or talk with Mrs Collins.
A wee reminder that if you have missing assignments, you have lots of time over the holidays to complete them. Check in with teachers and make sure that you have everything you need to do so. When we return to school students with failing grades and missing assignments will be doing a lunch session weekly with me!

Our December Staff Marauder of the Month is Mrs Collins. Not only is Mrs Collins a dedicated and creative teacher, she also saw a need in our students and jumped into action with the Marauder Closet. We are truly thankful to have a staff member who cares so deeply and is willing to organize and involve her students in helping to take care of one another. Thank you Mrs Collins!!

7th grade boys basketball:
A sign up sheet is in the office. Practice starts the first Monday after school break. Questions can be directed to Coach Thelen.
Please, please, please take everything out of your locker before leaving today. Believe me, nobody wants any weird smells emanating from their lockers when we get back in January. Also make sure that you have anything that you need for missing assignments.
