There will be a Science Olympiad Team sign up meeting tomorrow morning 12/3 in Mr. Wertz's room 116 at 7:35 am. All 7th and 8th graders are welcome to join this year's team.
Today we are kicking off our donation drive for our very own Marauder Closet! Please bring all donation items to your first hour teacher. Remember, the winning class will be able to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and get a little treat! If you have questions about what to donate or any questions about the closet in general, please see Mrs. Collins or your class's assigned 8th grader.

We would also like to recognize our Staff Member Marauder of the Month, Mrs Tuma. Mrs Tuma is the unsung hero of the middle school and has been for many years. She leaps into action to take care of the many responsibilities which keep the school running without ever needing to be asked and frequently goes unthanked, so now is the perfect time to say that we are so grateful for everything that you do, Mrs Tuma. You are the spirit of what it means to be a Marauder.

We have a very special staff birthday today, Happy Birthday today to the Great Motivator - a teacher who goes beyond making you a great student to inspiring you to be a great human being. The best Buddy the Elf EVER, Mr Latz! Hope that you have a terrific day Latzy!
Just a wee reminder that we have lots of fun ‘reward’ events coming up, such as the 6th grade Holiday celebrations. These events require students to be passing all classes, have no missing or late work, have 1 or less tardies, no teacher detentions and no office discipline referrals. Please make sure that you are getting your work turned in, on time, that you are meeting the school expectations and that you are not late to class so that you too can celebrate with your grade.

We are halfway through our Marauder essentials drive for the Marauder Closet. If you are able to bring in items such as deodorant, socks, toothbrushes, gloves they will benefit students right here in the MS. Stay posted this afternoon for an announcement of which 1st hour class is in the lead.
In Wrestling News:
Last night we wrestled at Chesaning Middle School in a Qaud with Webberville and Mt. Morris. It was a great night for our wrestlers as we dominated on the mat! We won 11 of 16 matches and the losses were all highly contested matches.

In FFA news:
There will be a FFA meeting December 10th before school at 7:30am in Mrs Miller's room. There is also a parent meeting in the evening at 6pm, same day, same place, Mrs Miller's room.
This is the last day for the Marauder essentials drive competition for the Marauder Closet. We will be announcing the winning 1st hour classroom at the end of the day. Items are always welcome, so please feel free to continue to bring them in. They will benefit students right here in the MS.
Next week begins our Pizza Party Toys For Tots Drive! We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the next 2 weeks - until the 19th. These will benefit local kiddos.
