Canned Food Drive

Student Council is hosting a canned food drive this week from today through Fri 22nd.  Bring your canned goods to your first hour class.  The first hour class with the greatest number of canned goods by Friday will win a hot chocolate bar reward event.

Please check out the lost and found in the lobby.  Items will be donated during the Thanksgiving Break.  Please only take items which belong to you.

We will have a popcorn day on Wednesday so remember to bring a $1 if you want popcorn at lunchtime.

Don’t forget that we have a Toys for Tots box in the lobby for any new, unwrapped toys.

Chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, mixed fruit and milk.

Happy Birthday today to Brady F. Have a wonderful birthday Brady! A very happy birthday also to Mrs Cook's right hand gal, Mrs Ponteck. Mrs Ponteck is endlessly creative and kind in the classroom and has a smile for every person that she sees. Happy birthday Mrs Ponteck!

Reminder that cell phones must be turned off and left in your locker as soon as you enter school.  They are not permitted in your pocket.  


Also a reminder that no pop, energy drinks or coffee is permitted in school, even at lunchtime.

In Volleyball news:

Congratulations to our 7th grade A team, they won all of their sets last night against Montrose.

Canned Food Drive

So far the 1st hour class leading the Food Drive Hot Chocolate Bar Race is Mrs Millers’ class, with Duckert’s coming in 2nd and Wertz a close 3rd behind them.  You are going to have an extra opportunity to bring in some items for the canned food drive as we are extending it Monday, so you can pop out this weekend and grab a couple of cans of something to help the Elsie Food Bank out. 

The lost and found is full to bursting in the lobby.  Check it out for your lost hoodies, water bottles and other bizarre items as they will be donated during the Thanksgiving Break.  Please only take items which belong to you.

Happy Birthday today to Ryan F. Have a wonderful birthday Ryan!  We also have a very special staff birthday.  Happy birthday today to the King of the Gym, the fastest talking guy around, the teacher with the coolest hair (not that he spends any time thinking about that!), Mr Hufnagel!!!  Happy Birthday Mr Hufnagel!


The IC is closed until 10:30am today.

Play will start promptly at 1:30pm

Take attendance 6th hour and bring kids down,  reinforcement of expectations should also take place.

Our Middle School Performing Arts Matinee is at 1:30pm today

PA students will be released at 12:20pm to prep.

Please remember the expectations required for being your best as an audience.  Being on stage is a scary and difficult thing to do, these students deserve your best manners and attention.

In Volleyball news:

Congratulations to our 8th grade vb team,  both A & B teams won their match, and shout out to 7th grade volleyball players who won one of their sets.

Today is the LAST day to turn in OE basketball clothing orders and money.
