Announcements Monday 11/11/2024: 

Good morning staff and students & Happy Veterans Day! 

If you have someone in your life who has served, please take a moment to thank them today for their work and sacrifice in keeping us safe.  And a huge thank you to all of those who have served and who work in our school and school district.

In FFA News:

Fruit & Nut orders are due on Wednesday.

There is a meeting on Thursday at 7:30am in Mrs Miller’s room.

In Performing Arts News:

There are no dress rehearsals for the middle school play after school this week.

The middle school play is not this Friday but next at 7pm and again on Saturday at 7pm.  Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at:

Don’t forget that we have no school on Friday.  We’ll be doing the sugar sling on Thursday.

We have a SPIRIT WEEK THIS WEEK to celebrate World Kindness Day on Wednesday, November 13th.

One way to be kind is to think of others in need.  We have a Toys for Tots box in the lobby for new, unwrapped toys for kids who might not have as much for Christmas as others.

Note: A 2023 poll by Tastes Better from Scratch, found that 31.4% of Americans disliked green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole and candied yams was the second least popular choice.

Canned Food Drive

Student Council is hosting a canned food drive next week from Mon 18th to Fri 22nd.  Bring your canned goods to your first hour class.  The first hour class with the greatest number of canned goods by Friday will win a hot chocolate bar reward event.

Chess Club News:

There is no chess club tonight!

7th Grade Volleyball News:

Congratulations to our 7th grade A team.  They won their match last night.  Nice work ladies!

Wrestling News:

Tuesday night we wrestled at Bendle High School against Lakeville and Bendle. 

We did not get a lot of matches due to low numbers on the other teams. In the matches we had we wrestled well.

This was our only competition this week but we look forward to working hard at practice!
