It is Teacher Appreciation Week!! You will see some tropical themed items in the hallways for the TAW activities. Please do not touch these! Take a little time over the next few days to thank your middle school staff for being in your lives and working so hard to teach, inspire and care for you.

We have 6th grade math MSTEP tomorrow. Please get an early night, eat a good breakfast and be here, ready to go, before 7:55am. We will need quiet in the hallways but y’all are pros at that by now!
The Spring Band Concert is 6-7pm tomorrow night. Why not come out and support your school band and hear some great music?!

Note: On July 20, 1969, Commander Neil Armstrong and Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin landed the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle. Armstrong became the first person to step onto the Moon's surface. Aldrin joined him 19 minutes later, and they spent about two and a quarter hours together exploring the site they had named Tranquility Base upon landing.

I’m feeling the need for a little inspiration this morning. Sometimes it can feel like everything is overwhelming; too much to do, too little time and too much self-doubt but just remember that everything that you can do right now is because you were able to learn how to do it; you tried; you made the effort and you practiced. You’ve got this people!
Have a terrific Tuesday everybody and remember it may not be easy but it will definitely be worth it!

We have 7th grade ELA MSTEP today and tomorrow. You will see signs on doors reminding you to please be quiet in the hallways, especially during passing time.
Heads up 8th grade! This is a reminder that the scheduling form for your classes in HS is due TOMORROW to select classes for next year.
76 out of 98 incoming 9th graders have completed it, anyone that does not submit a response by 3pm tomorrow will have classes selected for them by the Student Services department at OEHS.
