Submit your bookmark designs to your LA teacher by this Wednesday, March 13th. Also, check your email for the new voting form to place your vote in the MS Book Brackets. The names of 3 voters will be chosen at random at the end of the week to win a prize.

This past Saturday, the Ovid-Elsie Middle School Science Olympiad Team competed in our annual regional competition at East Lansing High School. Team members include: Robert C, Lucius H, Brady L, Shaelyn K, Dominic M, Bentley N, Finn P, Izzy R, Brent S, Matt S, Thomas W, Ben Z.
Individual event medal winners were:
Brady L and Dominic M - 6th Place - Crime Busters
Ben Z and Dominic M - 3rd Place - Road Scholar
Finn P and Bentley N - 6th Place - Roller Coaster
Bentley N and Finn P - 3rd Place - Write it, Do it
Congratulations to all of the medal winners and to the whole Science Olympiad Team for a successful season!!
7th Grade Boys Red Cedar Basketball Team got 1st place at their tournament this weekend! Congratulations Guys!!
Congratulations to the 8th grade and HS band for their performance at the Band Festival on Friday night in Owosso.

In the 19th century various tricolour flags and ribbons came to be symbolic of Irish nationalism. Many of them included the colours green (for the Roman Catholics. It represented the side fighting for Irish independence.), orange (for the Protestants who at one time had been led by William of Orange), and white (the color of peace and purity for peace between them).

A reminder that students are not permitted to print anything without a pass from teachers and that school copiers and printers are only for school assignments.
There will be a Fall 2024 volleyball informational meeting, for 8th grade girls, in Ehle’s classroom (Rm 114) next Tuesday morning, 3/19, at 7:30am
March FFA meeting is tomorrow night at 6pm in the HS Cafeteria
The schoolwide bookmark design competition will come to a close on Wednesday. Make sure that you get your designs into your LA teacher by the end of the day Wednesday
