There will be a bowling club sign up for 7th and 8th grade, on February 13th (that is next Tuesday) during lunches.
Your student council will be selling pickles on Wednesday for $1.
This Wednesday is Valentine’s Day, there is a FFA Meeting at 6pm in the HS Cafeteria with Sugar Cookie decorating and Valentine Card making.
And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:
Question: For how many years (to the closest 100) have we been sharing Valentine’s greetings?
Answer: 600 years

Note: Passing out Valentines is a 600-year-old tradition.
The oldest record of a Valentine is a poem Charles, the Duke of Orleans, wrote to his wife when he was imprisoned in the Tower of London in 1415, in which he refers to his wife as his "Valentine." For lack of a better phrase, the rest is history.
