MS X Country wrapped up their season on Sat. The team showed grit and improved all season long. Leading the girls’ team, Madi B and Sofia C both earned medals for their outstanding finishes. On the boys’ side, CJ S medaled for the Marauders with his tremendous run. Nice work guys!! 8 other team members set new PRs at the championship meet. Congrats on setting goals and improving over the season. The X country team has represented us well all season. We’re so proud of your hard work and good sportsmanship. Don’t forget to turn your uniforms into Coach Snyder this week.
Wrestling practice begins this afternoon after school. It's not too late to sign up. You can show up on Monday with a physical turned into coach Potter or the office.
And now we have a special bonus Ms. Holley’s Chuckle Time with our Marauder Raffle winner, Kaden Levey’s joke.
Joke: ‘What newspaper does a cow read?’
Answer: The Moo-York times.
And now it’s time for Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:
Question: Who wrote and performed the theme song for the original movie Ghostbusters?
Answer: Ray Parker Jr.
Class: Latz
Note: Parker only had a few days to write the song and was inspired by a late night tv commercial to write it as a pseudo-advertising jingle for the ghostbusting business.
Have a marvelous Monday everybody!
