Books may not be checked out of the IC this week. Please finish reading your current books and then return them. Computer problems must be addressed in the office.
We have a Teacher Appreciation Spirit Week this week. Tuesday you can wear your favorite Hawaiian Shirt, Wednesday wear bright colors, Thursday is a hat day and Friday wear a lei or something flowery.
6th and 7th grade are sitting their ELA M-Step this week on Wednesday and Thursday.
A reminder about the new policy at lunchtime where you may not have food in the lobby. If you wish to sit quietly in the lobby you must eat in the cafeteria and throw away your trash before doing so. Running around, throwing items and rolling on the floor is not permitted.
And now it’s time for Staff Trivia Manic Mystery Monday so pop your thinking caps on and teachers dial 1420 when you have heard the entire question and your class has an answer:

The last FFA meeting for the year is this Wednesday in the HS cafeteria at 6:00 PM. Ms. Hoffman needs to have a head count to order pizzas, so please let her know or stop into her room and sign up. There will also be prizes for Minute to Win It games.

Saturday detention will be held May 20th, for anyone failing 3 or more subjects or who has exceeded the tardy limit this quarter. You may want to start making up your missing assignments and being in class on time, ready to work, to avoid this detention.

Tomorrow is the last day of Teacher Appreciation week but not the last day to appreciate your teachers!! Wear a lei and something flowery tomorrow. You may wear a hat today but may be asked to remove it for testing if it is a distraction.

A huge thank you to student council and the student council leaders for making us all feel so special this week. It took a massive amount of work and we are so thankful for you.
We’ll have a 5 min early release for the sugar sling this afternoon. If you have $ for concessions you may be released at 2:55pm.
Announcements-Tennis Sign Ups are in the office for incoming freshman, 2023-2024 school year.
OE Youth Cheer Fall 2023 Sign Ups for next year’s 6th, 7th and 8th grade are being held Sat, May 20th 4-6pm and Sun, June 4th 4-6pm at OE Youth Football Field on First St, Ovid. We have more info available in the office.
